  • Obama's backpedaling on issues has been apparent to some even before the election. He has certainly shifted positions, but it has been anything but "ginger". And his blatant "ducking for political cover" has not avoided undercutting his credibility and authority, it has done exactly that.

  • I have had a career in medicine. Obama is telling us that we can "fix" the health care system in such a way as to provide universal coverage, provide increased quality of care, and reduce costs simultaneously. Sound too good to be true? It is.

  • You make an excellent point. With Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi next in line for the Presidency, Obama is pretty bullet proof. Maybe those who said that Obama nominated Biden to ensure that nobody would ever do him harm if he were elected POTUS were right.

  • I share your respect for both JFK and RR. I do believe, however, that BO has the potential to achieve a miracle. He is going to make Jimmy Carter's presidency look downright good.
